Individuals who join this program will have full community access. You will be supported to Identify and build on skills to increase Individuals access to your community, i.e., Paratransit, Lyft/Uber, Public Transit. We will support you to Identify and build electronic access, thru Internet access, use of electronic communication and research skills. You will also be encouraged and supported to build community safety skills and support and destination training skills. All while creating a community of your choice through the person-centered planning process. During Community Engagement you will have opportunities to engage in community activities and support that are of interest to you. We will help you develop activities and interests to expand your community contacts and social networks. While exploring your community we will help you build appropriate social skills, communication skills, confidence and look for volunteer opportunities.
