Central Valley Regional Center
Primary Advisory Committee

Representatives from The Arc of Fresno / Madera Counties

Our funding agency, Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) has established the Primary Advisory Committee (PAC) as a standing committee of their Board of Directors.   The primary purpose of the committee is to bring self-advocates together to discuss their needs both collectively and as individuals and bring to the attention of the Executive Director of CVRC.   Open communication is the hallmark of this group.

The committee members are representatives from vendored agencies of CVRC’s catchment area of six (6) counties, specifically Merced, Madera, Fresno, Mariposa, and Kings/Tulare.   The PAC Chair, who is elected from among their peers every two (2) years is a member and has a seat on the CVRC Board of Directors.  They hold six (6) meetings per year.

The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties wholeheartedly supports the participation of our service recipients on this PAC Committee and honored to share many have held the PAC chair position.
